The Computer Security Research Laboratory of the University of Quebec in Outaouais (www.uqo.ca) is offering an up to 2 years post-doctoral position.
The successful candidate will contribute to an NSERC-founded project in the development of new methods for enhancing the security of the Internet of Things by combining formal methods and software engineering methods. This project is under the direction of Prof. Kamel Adi, Prof. Luigi Logrippo, and Prof. Omer Nguena Timo.
The Computer Security Research Laboratory has the mission of carrying out fundamental and applied research in the field of cybersecurity. LRSI’s research work is carried out with academic and industrial partners in Canada and internationally. Research activities aim to improve data security, software security, computer network security, computer system security (embedded, operational, etc.), and security governance.
The Computer Security Research Laboratory is located in the city of Gatineau in the national capital region of Canada.
Qualification requirements
Applicants for the postdoctoral position must have a PhD degree within five years of graduation at the time of the start of the appointment, in the area of Computer Science or in a closely related field. The relevant research interests include topics related to model-based security system engineering, access control modeling and engineering, and artificial intelligence applied to system security.
Remuneration
The wage for the postdoctoral position is CAD 60,000 a year.
