Postdoctoral Position

Applications are invited for one post-doctoral position at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Université du Québec en Outaouais, CANADA.  The position is part of a research project under the direction of Kamel Adi, Luigi Logrippo, Omer Nguena Timo. The overarching goal of this project is researching methods for enhancing the security of the Internet of Things by combining formal methods and software engineering methods.
The successful candidate will benefit from, and contribute to, the research environment at LRSI “Laboratoire de Recherche en Sécurité Informatique” (https://lrsi.uqo.ca/). Gatineau is the sister city of Ottawa, where there are two other universities.


Qualification requirements

Applicants for the postdoctoral position must have a PhD degree within five years of graduation at the time when the appointment will start, in the area of Computer Science or closely related field. The relevant research interests are in topics related to model-based security system engineering, access control modelling and engineering and artificial intelligence, applied to system security.


Remuneration

The wage for the postdoctoral position is 60 000 CAD a year before taxes. The position is for one year renewable, starting as soon as possible.
